Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book, visit or use The Content Gym ("we", "us"), a private gym and content studio at 6340 NE 4th Ct, 2nd floor, Miami, FL 33138, and when you use thecontentgym.co. By booking a block, a tour or a membership you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Booking a block

  • The studio is rented by the block with a two-hour minimum. Current blocks, prices and the Creator Membership are listed on the booking page; the price shown when you book is the price you pay.
  • Bookings are made online through Acuity Scheduling and paid by card at the time of booking. Your confirmation email is your proof of booking.
  • A block is exclusive use of the whole floor for the hours you booked. It starts and ends at the booked times; set-up and pack-down happen inside your block. If you need more time, ask before your block ends and we will extend it if the calendar allows, at the hourly rate.
  • The free 15-minute tour is a visit, not a booking. It carries no charge and no obligation.

What is included

Every block includes the strength and cardio equipment, the turf lane, the sauna and the lighting on stands that are on the floor on the day, as described on this site. We keep the floor stocked and in working order, but we do not guarantee a specific piece of equipment will be available on a given day. You are welcome to bring your own lights, cameras, gear and set pieces.

Your responsibilities

  • You must be 18 or older to book. You are responsible for everyone you bring: crew, clients, talent and guests.
  • Use the equipment as intended and leave the floor as you found it. Rack the weights, wipe down what you used, and take everything you brought with you.
  • You are responsible for any damage to the space or equipment caused by you or your group beyond normal wear, and you agree to pay the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
  • No smoking or vaping inside. No illegal activity, and nothing filmed or photographed that is unlawful or that would get the studio in trouble with the building.
  • A booking may not be resold or transferred to someone else without asking us first.

Safety

This is a working gym with free weights, machines, a heavy bag and a sauna. You and your group use them at your own risk, within your own ability, and you are responsible for supervising anyone you train or direct. Tell us right away if something is broken or unsafe. If you or anyone in your group has a medical condition that makes exercise or heat a risk, consult a doctor before using the equipment or the sauna.

Cancellations and rescheduling

  • Rescheduling is free. Email [email protected] or call (786) 239-1776 and we will move your block to another available time.
  • Cancelling with more than 48 hours' notice before the start of your block: full refund.
  • Cancelling within 48 hours of the start of your block, or not showing up: a holding fee of 25% of the booking price is kept and the rest is refunded.
  • Tours can be cancelled or moved any time at no charge.

Creator Membership

  • The Creator Membership is a monthly plan that includes eight hours of studio time each month at the member rate shown on the booking page. Hours are booked through the same calendar as blocks, subject to availability.
  • The member rate is a three-month commitment. By starting the membership you agree to three consecutive monthly payments. It renews month to month after that.
  • Cancelling the membership. To cancel, email [email protected]. We confirm the cancellation and stop future payments; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current three-month commitment, or at the end of the current month once the commitment is complete. Memberships cannot be cancelled from inside the scheduling system, and a membership stopped before the three months are paid remains due for the remaining months.
  • Unused hours do not carry over or convert to a refund unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Your content

Everything you shoot in the studio is yours. We claim no rights in your photos, video or audio and we will not use your content to promote the studio unless you tag us or tell us we can. If you tag @the.content.gym or share your content with us for that purpose, you give us permission to repost it with credit.

Our liability

To the extent Florida law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for lost or damaged personal property, for lost shooting time caused by things outside our control such as power or building outages or weather, or for indirect losses such as lost income. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

This website

The text, photographs and design on thecontentgym.co belong to The Content Gym or are used with permission. You may share links to the site freely; please ask before reusing our photos. Information on the site is kept current in good faith, but prices, hours and equipment are confirmed at the time you book.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law requires otherwise.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. The terms in force when you book apply to that booking.
